Women are easily Influenced and Brainwashed… Agree? Social media is in facct pating a key role in this. It is so sad to share this post but it had to be written anyway. Women are important in every society. The moment we think otherwise, we are doom as a generation. Gender advocates and the call for equality and the need to give women more opportunities and a voice in all spheres of life have reached its highest point in recent times.

“Bad friends’ corrupt good manners” has not changed and show me your friends and I will tell you your character still holds just as negative peer pressure affects everyone including our women who find themselves in the wrong groups on social media feel they found the truth and themselves.

I weep for women today because; many more young women or youthful women seem not to get this whole concept right. In trying to find their voices, some are becoming something else.

I believe the rights of women, girls, and children need to be guarded to make sure their rights are not violated upon. Sadly, many of our young girls, sisters and aunties and even moms are not able to draw a distinction between what is valuable and inspiring from what is destroying them and making them lose it all on this women empowermenr agenda.

Do you know there are women’s empires and clubs on social media? I decided to find out their general reactions and opinions on issues confronting them, their relationships and related issues on such platforms and I wept.

One lady said: I had this friend who started by posting motivational messages etc in the social media group. In no time, almost all his messages were about women who were sexually frustrated in marriage, and how they cheated on their husbands. Sometimes he went on to describe, in graphic detail how the women enjoyed their extramarital affairs.

I thought I was just gaining more knowledge. Before long, I came to accept unconsciously that sexual satisfaction was the topmost priority in marriage, and every time I would think about marriage, I will think about how those shenanigans so much.

God’s mercies found me and I realized what it was doing to my mind.
I quickly unfollowed and started to reorganize my thoughts. I re-recognized that it is the love and peace of God that sustains marriage and not sex.

And there are so many things out there that make us think we are getting information but they are really shaping our world-view to conform to that of this dying world.

May God continue to have mercy on us and rescue us from these things.

Another lady in an attempt to find out more about love and relationship ended up been brainwashed.

She said: The way my thoughts and outlook on relationships were shaped subtly by what I was reading on that page ehn. Thankfully and timely enough grace helped me out. The world celebrates negativity.

Well, she was not alone, another lady wrote and said:  Listen!!! I thought I was the only one who was getting paranoid due to all the negative posts…Good to know we are on the same page.

The truth is that, many more young women continue to join such negative groups thinking they will find the best information about love and relations and make their ego more superior so they can lord it over others.

Another lady was actually enjoying the negativity in the social group but something happened. She says in her own words: I enjoy being in that group… different strokes for different folks.
But what you are saying is exactly why I stopped reading Danielle steel books. The same theme of women treated unfairly runs through most of them. What we read feeds our minds and what is in our mind makes us.

One other confessed that her brain cells died more by the second by just being a member of the ladies’ social group. I tell you. It was getting out of my hands. I thought I was the only one until I saw this post and its comments.

She was then in a dilemma whether to report the group to Facebook or hide. Well, guess what? She left the group a long time ago, she said. I realized the negativity going on in there and the way members were dying every day. I naturally don’t like to be around negative people. I’m glad I did.

But there are more ladies who have built new found empires on social media and have found their voices in such negative environments. If a woman tells a man “You can only control your wife in your kitchen but when you enter ladies castle then you will meet powerful social media women” it is an indication that, we are losing it all on this gender equality and the need to give women the needed voice. Such opportunities and privileges are in place to empower women to do great exploits, contribute to national and world development and positively impact society. Please don’t add arrogance to it and do not allow your self to be brainwashed that this means doing the wrong this and still being fine with it

I challenge young women of today to direct their newfound energy into positively empowering others and avoid all manner of social gatherings that brainwashes them and plants negativity into their minds. Take note that, we all need each other; I don’t know it all, I am never always right and so are you. I tell you some are been brainwashed even now.
